Enrollment Overall
The Beautification Council only hires the unhoused and justice-impacted. All participants are
enrolled in our 16-week paid job readiness program, as an Independent Contractor, becoming
a program partner where they develop hard and soft skills for today’s workforce. Individuals
that successfully complete the program are empowered to obtain long-term employment,
economic stability, and housing.
Enrollment Eligibility
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be unhoused/homeless or justice-impacted (parole/probation)
- Must have valid ID and SSN (if not, the BC will assist individuals with obtaining their vital records)
- Must have a physical mailing address (for individuals that are unhoused, a physical address is required for you to receive mail from the BC)
- Independent transportation (individuals are required to get to the project sites independently)
- Must have the required tools to perform the duties of a Micro Cleaning Expert, as an Independent Contractor (the BC will provide tools during the two week orientation phase, individuals must have their own tools at the end of orientation)
- Must attend an MCSE onboarding orientation
- Earn $22 per hour while gaining experience
